Inspiring Yogi | Cindy Williams

It’s July 2021, and this month’s Inspiring Yogi is a Founding Member of Inspiring Yoga Grapevine.  She’s been with IYGV before the doors even opened!  Cindy has become an integral part of our community not only in the studio but behind the front desk, as well.  Read about Cindy’s journey to Inspire and how IYGV became her yoga home.

Cindy’s Story

“I had only practiced yoga a handful of times before I found Inspire Yoga.  I had taken a couple of pop-up classes at a winery and tried a couple of classes at the YMCA.  I even joined the YMCA to look at taking more yoga and group fitness classes, but I never really felt very welcomed in the couple of classes I took.

“I happened to follow Grapevine Craft Brewery (now Hop & Sting) on Facebook and saw an event that was posted for a free yoga class at the brewery.  I talked my sister and her now husband into going with me. It was that class that had me hooked on yoga!!!  I went to a couple more of the free classes at the brewery before Inspire opened, stepping out of my comfort zone, going by myself.

“When the studio opened and I saw the Bend and Brew classes on Friday nights, that is when I knew I was hooked on Inspire.  After several Friday night classes and hanging out with everyone, I decided to become a member and never looked back.”

Feeling Inspired to Practice in July?

Cindy found her community at Inspire Yoga. If you are ready to find a fun new community of like minded people, join us for a fun community class or Bend and Brew on Friday nights.  We are excited to meet you and assist you on your yoga journey.

    1. Hi Megan,

We couldn’t agree with you more! It wouldn’t feel like a Wednesday night with Cindy greeting all the yogis!

  2. Thank God for Cindy’s journey because she’s 1 of the many people and things I love about IYG. We’re both Bend and Brew junkies LOL.

  3. So glad that Grapevine yoga and Colleyville yoga have bend and brew back in the game! I am sooo ready for all the in person interaction I can get. You are right Cindy, that is a great place to get started and to get hooked up with a great new crowd!
