Bethany Pilat

Bethaney began practicing yoga as a way to stay centered, balanced, and active while working as an elementary school teacher. Her natural affinity toward teaching and sharing the things she is passionate about lead her easily into her first certifications in both yoga and Pilates. She earned her 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification in the Samatva Yoga Teacher Training Program with Karen Prior. Her teaching style has since been inspired by teachers such as Seane Corn, Kathryn Budig, Tiffany Cruikshank, Dice Iida-Klein & Briohny Smyth as well as countless fellow yogis who have inspired her own practice along the way. “I enjoy being a student just as much as being a teacher. Life is about giving and receiving in the same breath.” Bethaney, her husband, and two sons enjoy living and owning a small business here in the community they love. Since opening the first doors to Inspire Yoga in 2010, a thriving community has grown where everyone is welcomed, guided, and connected.

I first gave yoga a chance in college and decided it wasn’t for this sensible midwest girl.  The joke was on me.  I found my way back to a yoga class after having a family and the ability to move through my emotions and put down the mental load was addictive. Not a bad way to spend an hour.  In my class you’ll be moved around the mat in new and dynamic ways.  I strive to lead you through a breath paced flow filled with unusual transitions that will keep you anchored in the moment. And we’re bound to share some laughs along the way. If you’re looking for a fun and new way to experience yoga, you’ve come to the right place.

Nancy nelson

Nancy is a 500 hour Yoga Alliance certified instructor and lives a quiet and joy-filled life with her husband and cuddly hound dog in Denton, Texas – her hometown. Nancy’s yoga journey began after the loss of a close friend. She found her time on the mat to be a welcoming place to walk through the healing process and to reconnect with what ultimately matters in this life. Nancy graduated from both the 200 and 300 hour training programs at Inspire Yoga in 2012 and 2013. Nancy has a passion for the introspective and nurturing practice of yin yoga and has completed the 50 hour intensive yin yoga teacher training with Bernie Clark and Diana Batts. In her classes, she works to create a safe space for her students to tune into their truest needs, practicing yoga from the inside out. Her goal is to leave practitioners feeling encouraged and reconnected at the end of each class experience.

Tara munro

Hey yogis, I’m Tara Munro, your go-to yoga party starter! With two decades of teaching chops and 24 years of getting bendy, I’m still younger than a sun salutation. Certified up the wazoo and a library full of yoga wisdom, I’m all about turning your practice into a full-on dance party. Get ready to sweat, curse (don’t worry, it’s a sign you’re working hard), and flash those pearly whites when you realize you can touch your toes or balance on your arms in a way you didn’t know was possible. Let’s crank up the tunes, bust a move, and flow into zen bliss together. Grab your mats and let’s get this yoga party started! Namaste, rockstars!

I took my first yoga class 25 years ago and immediately fell in love with it. I knew that it would eventually be something I wanted to give back to others because it helped me through some hard times. This feeling of immense gratitude for yoga transfers over into my teaching, with my classes being thoughtful, grounded and centered. I also love being creative and to allow for the body to move in ways that feel natural to the movement of the body. My classes are a great fit for everyone.

Jen wilford

Jennifer initially pursued yoga as a way to stay injury free while training for marathons, but eventually was hooked by the physical strength, enhanced flexibility and mental balance she found from the practice. “While flexibility and core strength are great benefits, yoga hooked me once I figured out how to carry it off the mat. I embrace life more fully and completely. It’s been a game-changer.” Having run the Boston Marathon the last seven consecutive years, she is aware first-hand of the hamstrung hamstrings and tight hips that are problematic in distance runners. While running stokes her competitive side, her love of yoga is rooted in its ability to merge physical movement with mindfulness. Jen is a graduate of the Inspire Yoga School Training program and is a certified distance running coach. She coaches runners and walkers of all abilities, and teaches a complimentary all-levels flow class at Luke’s Locker in the Shops at Highland Village.

I grew up an athlete and the first yoga class I ever did I hated with a passion. For some reason I went back, and then I went back again. I started going for the workout and I continued going for the personal growth. Yoga obviously grew on me, and it’s now my absolute favorite topic of conversation! The yoga practice is always teaching me flexibility, peace, and awareness in both body and mind.

This is what I want for my people – for students in every part of the yogic path to get the full experience every time. I love putting together a creative but pragmatic flow with breath work, dharma talks, and moments of meditation. If you want perfect, cookie-cutter classes, you’re in the wrong place! My goal as a teacher is to hold space for each person to have their own uniquely challenging class mind, body, and spirit, so sometimes we do things a little differently, but everyone leaves feeling good!

I landed on Inspire Yoga’s doorsteps in 2015 and felt for the first time what it was like to be present in my body. As I processed my own past and addiction to stress, I realized how deeply healing it can be to connect and listen to what my body was communicating to me. In every one of my classes I incorporate the big picture of yoga using meditation, breath work, TCM and other healing modalities, while emphasizing being the observer; noticing your body, breath and mind as you surrender to the flow of movement. My goal is to always leave you feeling connected to yourself and with the reminder that you are much more than just your physical body. When I’m not teaching yoga, you can find me cooking in the kitchen as a personal chef; full body wellness is truly my passion.

Christian Stovall

Christian is a graduate of the Inspire Yoga Teacher Training program and teaches an all-levels flow class. A lifelong athlete of tennis, soccer and all water sports, his classes focus on strength and flexibility to bring balance to his student’s practice. After finding that balance in his own practice, he strives to bring that awareness to his students thru a creative class and his love of music. Christian’s path into yoga started ten years ago when his best friend urged him to try a class for the first time. From that first class, he knew he had found that missing element from not only his physical fitness but also from his mental and spiritual journey. He continued his practice at countless studios and gyms in the Dallas area never really finding a
real community connection. After returning to the ‘burbs a few years ago, his practice brought him to Inspire and the rest is history. It was here, in this amazing community that he took the journey to become an instructor. He is a self-described ‘foodie’ that enjoys cooking and baking and torturing his family and friends with all things chocolate. When not practicing or teaching yoga, you will find him planning his next travel adventure along with his partner from their home base in Flower Mound.

Rachel is a born and raised Texan. Yoga was an immediate fit for her because she finds the mat to be a place to slow down and tune inward in the midst of a busy life. She believes yoga gives us permission to slow our pace but also provides a physical and mental challenge for the practitioner. It’s a discipline that meets us wherever we are in life. In 2016, she graduated from Inspire Yoga’s 200 hour teacher training program. Rachel’s classes are for you – no matter your age, stage, size or level of ability. Just show up! Rachel is a wife and mother to three wonderful young men who inspire her to be a better person daily. Rachel Strives to live up to their view of her. She loves spending time with her family in any way she can manage to get everyone in the same place at the same time. Outside of yoga, she enjoys most any outdoor activity such as gardening, swimming, walks, hikes, and running. She also loves traveling and live music. Basically – she gravitates toward being on the move!

DIANE PINTAR

I had a student describe me as a “mystical unicorn” recently which made me giggle because if I’m anything it’s a feisty mouse. I am small and a bit sassy but I love yoga and my students. I want everyone to feel welcome upon arrival to class, supported throughout, and restored when they leave. I approach my classes as a “choose your own adventure” by offering options and modifications to allow you to practice at the level that fits you best! love a fun baby grasshopper pose, or a spritz of essential oils, but for me yoga is about more than the postures, it’s about deep connection- to your breath, to your body, but also to those you encounter off of your mat too.

I was initially drawn to yoga and meditation to help manage stress through some big life transitions and create a healthier mind-body connection. Through a consistent practice I developed greater insight and powerful tools that helped me get out of my own way, gain clarity, uncover my true nature, and feel more at peace within the wild ride of life. I love how yoga and meditation are universal, and that there is a style out there for everyone. Through teaching various forms of these practices I strive to inspire, encourage and teach others how they can tap into their own innate ability to flow through life with greater strength, ease and resilience.

Yoga is my escape from constant thoughts allowing me to connect within. Being a perfectionist by nature, I’ve learned there is no perfect pose and to appreciate my imperfections. My classes welcome all levels, focusing on strength, challenge, variety and most importantly fun while encouraging you to listen to your body to create a practice tailored to your unique body. My goal is to guide pain-free movement for years to come aiming for you to leave feeling stronger and happier. “Bo” is from the San Francisco Bay Area where he became totally fascinated with yoga and continued on to become a certified instructor. He is very interested in cross discipline practice and how yoga can enhance and enrich our wellness by unlocking potential. Yoga is in his heart and spirit and he’s been immersed in it ever since being hooked from his very first experience. It’s a magnificent practice, from its mental and physically liberating aspects, to its spirit of joy. He enjoys flow and has a deep passion for Yin in particular with strong influences from Bernie Clark and Paul and Suzee Grilley. His classes offer significant balance and enhancement to Yang Yoga, as well as other practices and activities. Whatever your level or need there is something for you here. He welcomes the opportunity to share an environment for you to practice, heal, or explore your own needs.

I came to yoga because of a girl (how relatable!) and ended up marrying her. With all that yoga practice, I decided I should become a yoga instructor, too! A music instructor by trade, you may have to listen to my melodious voice in between my instruction. Fear not though, I will guide you in this moving meditation with plenty of energetic, positive vibes and a love for teaching. Come join me at Inspire Yoga for a little laughing and a lot of heart.

I believe in the healing power of yoga. My yoga journey began after having an accident which really affected my muscles, my ability to walk, and move in general. After going to several doctors and not finding any solutions I decided to try alternative methods. Through yoga, I was able to regain my strength not only physically but mentally as well. I found new ways to push my body while healing and developed a passion to pursue yoga as a lifestyle. I believe that we all have endless potential and yoga goes beyond just the physical; it helps heal our mind, body, and soul. My goal is to help you build a strong, flexible body while practicing self awareness through movement, breath, and stillness.

I have always led a fairly active lifestyle, but I never enjoyed working out.  That all changed the day I took my first hot yoga class.  I was hooked!  After spending quite a few years on my mat deepening my personal practice I decided I would share my passion for yoga with others by teaching.  My classes blend breath and body connection, dynamic vinyasa flows, and a little bit of sweat along the way. My hope is that you leave each class feeling rejuvenated and relaxed all at the same time.

When my heart danced to a different rhythm, I soared above the clouds connecting people and places through the art of dance. As my path unfolded, I was drawn to the grounding and healing practice of yoga. It became a sanctuary where the discipline of dance met the tranquility of the skies. My classes are designed for those who seek to release stress through the power of movement, cultivating flexibility and inner peace  where grace meets strength, and rhythm syncs with a blend of dance vibrancy and acrobatics thrill. Embrace the challenge, find your rhythm and transform tension into triumph. Come and pump your energy up.

I initially came to yoga for its physical benefits. I was a pretty serious runner until I suffered from Runner’s Knee. While trying to heal, I went to a yoga class and fell in love with the way it made me feel. Yoga replaced the “runner’s high” my body was accustomed to, but it was so much more than that. After every class, I found myself feeling more at peace mentally, yet energized and strong physically…I became hooked! I decided I wanted to share my love of yoga, by holding a space for others to experience this amazing mind-body connection. I truly believe yoga is for everyone. My classes are for beginners as well as seasoned yogis. I do not want anyone to ever feel discouraged by their practice, so I offer ways to help you meet your body where it is on any given day. I’ll encourage you to find your edge on days when you need more, but I will also provide different variations and modifications. My goal is to encourage and to help nurture students along their yoga journey.

I fell in love with how Yoga gave my mind permission to be quiet and still. The next year, I obtained my 200 hour teaching certification. I am someone who always preferred a hot or a strong yoga class and truly never thought I’d find my calling as a Yin teacher. Yin has become a deeply reflective practice for me and in my class you can expect an exploration of self awareness. With each breath, I invite my students to embrace the present moment, find stillness and to surrender to the whispers of their own hearts.

There are so many amazing things to see in this world! I never want a physical inability to get in the way or make me “miss out” on something I want to see or experience. Plagued with a chronic hip issue and eventual total hip replacement, I discovered that there are some things I cannot control – but there are ways to get around it. I found that when joints start to fail – that is the time for strength and mobility to prevail. Through yoga and strength training, I have dedicated my life to maintaining a healthy weight, a strong body, balance and flexibility. In my yoga classes, you will find a healthy dose of dynamic movement, strength and flexibility. If you are looking to challenge yourself and build strength while also focusing on joint mobility, then my classes are for you!

Tom Hawardin

My 24-year career in the Army took this New Jersey turned Texan all over the world, exposing me to diverse cultures and experiences. As a dedicated runner, I experienced injuries from excessive running. Seeking a new way to stay active, I turned to yoga in 2021 and fell in love with it immediately. Within six months, I had signed up for Instructor training. As someone who has struggled with balance, I learned to stick with yoga and focus on not only improving my practice and balance but also creating sequences that emphasize stability and grounding. Yoga has taught me the importance of mindfulness and presence, and now I aspire to share these lessons in every class I teach.  I hope to encourage you to embrace your current abilities and recognize that you are enough just as they are.
