I am a holistic practitioner and Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist. I work in several different fields related to health, alternative healing, and physical and mental well-being. I incorporate the mind-body approach to help my students achieve true balance in all areas of their life. I have been involved in energy work for over 15 years sharing my gift with anyone who is looking to cultivate a healthier, happier and more vibrant life.
My own spiritual journey began after I overcame emotional and physical traumas from my challenging childhood and teenage years. I discovered chakra balancing therapy in my early twenties and it gave me a deep understanding about underlying causes of my emotional and physical pain. Working with chakras helped me to overcome my own limiting beliefs and create a new life for myself.
Energy work is more than just a job for me. It is my passion, my mission and my Dharma.
It is a way for me to truly express my creative and spiritual sides. It is an opportunity to share my knowledge, my experience, and my heart to make this world a little brighter together.
In just a few short weeks, I will be presenting a workshop on the first chakra, the Root. Why Muladhara, you ask?
The base chakra or Muladhara means “support of the root”. It’s the first of the seven major chakras, symbolizing the densest grade of manifestation and the foundation of life. “Grounding” or “rooting” us is the main function of Muladhara. When we are grounded we are at one with life and able to manifest our goals. This chakra is associated with our most basic primal needs: Food, shelter, and connection to others. It drives your need to create a safe and comfortable home, to be financially secure, and have loving relationships.
The positive attributes of the root chakra give us remarkable abilities to survivie under extreme conditions. Blockages in Muladhara can lead to diminished self-confidence, guilt, hopelessness, resentment, depression, and financial difficulties. A blocked root chakra can also lead to a myriad of physical problems such as adrenal fatigue, eating disorders, auto-immune diseases, and problems with lower extremities.
Finding and maintaining balance in Muladhara is an essential step to build a strong foundation and fill your life with satisfaction, stability and inner strength.
I hope that you will join me on August 2nd 6:30-8:30pm for my workshop “Unleash the Power of Your Root Chakra”. We will dive into a deeper knowledge and understanding of the root chakra and seek ways to create a better balance. RSVP HERE
All proceeds for the workshop will be donated to Jonathan’s Place. The mission of Jonathan’s Place is to provide a safe, loving home and specialized services to children who have been abused, abandoned or neglected.
