Inspiring Yogi | Shelly Eshbaugh-Soha

Can you believe it’s already June?! If you’re still questioning the pace at which time is passing, just walk outside and you’ll quickly realize your amidst the Texas summer HEAT. This month, we have a super COOL short story from long-time Denton member, Shelly Eshbaugh-Soha. Read below and leave her some love in the comments!

One day in my Slow Flow class, I felt myself rising out of Crescent pose, metaphorically speaking, and ever since then I find that smile of pure joy lurking on my face when in Crescent. The pose has that great opening quality of the heart reaching heavenward, and at the same time it is building strength. So I am grounded and light, feeling both the solid earth and the love of etheric realms. Sometimes I wobble in Crescent a little, which is good for keeping it all real.

So it has everything: joy, strength, love, a solid foundation and humor.
