Exploring the Path to Vitality and Resilience with Rod Stryker

In the hustle and bustle of modern life, amidst the incessant cacophony of notifications and demands, finding a moment of peace can feel like an elusive dream. Yet, nestled within the chaos, there exists a serene oasis—one that promises to soothe the weary mind and replenish the spirit. At the heart of this sanctuary stands Rod Stryker, a luminary in the realm of meditation and mindfulness.

Rod Stryker is not merely a meditation teacher; he is a guide and a beacon of tranquility in a world often besieged by stress and unrest. With a career spanning 4 decades, Stryker has illuminated the path to inner peace for countless seekers, offering wisdom distilled from the ancient traditions of yoga and meditation.

About Rod

Following nearly two decades of studentship, Rod became the first American disciple of Kavi Yogiraj Mani Finger and Yogiraj Alan Finger to be given the title Yogiraj––master of Yoga. Since 1999, Rod has been a student of Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, Ph.D. in the tradition of Sri Vidya.

After decades of study, intensive practice and apprenticeship with these internationally renowned Yoga masters, Rod founded ParaYoga® as a resource for the time-tested wisdom of the yoga tradition. As part of ParaYoga’s Master Training program, he launched one of the most comprehensive online yoga teacher training programs in the world.

In addition to being a world-renowned meditation teacher and yoga educator, Rod is the author of two books, including: The Four Desires and the soon-to-be-released Enlightened Sleep.

He has mentored hundreds of teachers and thousands of students worldwide.

He is also a father to four amazing souls and currently lives in Idaho.

A Multitude of Stars

Stryker’s teachings are deeply rooted in the timeless wisdom of yoga and tantra. Drawing from the ancient traditions of yoga nidra, asana, bandha, pranayama, mudra, and meditation, he offers a contemporary roadmap for navigating the complexities of modern life with grace and resilience. Through the integration of ancient philosophy with practical techniques, Stryker invites practitioners to cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the world.

The Yoga Taravali is an ancient text; a time-tested guide to accessible practices to build a healthier body, a calmer more focused mind and the ability to adapt to change. Taravali means “multitude of stars” and the aim of this text is to highlight the brightest points of light of yogic and tantric techniques. It’s such an exceptional guide and companion for anyone who practices (or teaches) yoga, no matter their level.

A Weekend Of Yoga and Education with Rod Stryker

Over the course of this September 2024 weekend, master teacher Rod Stryker will guide you into experiences that will touch your heart and illuminate your mind. As you are led into each of the distinct practices outlined in the Taravali’s 29 verses, you will gain an understanding of the journey of the yoga practice.

Saturday, Sept 28th will focus on the first half of the text to set the foundation. On Sunday, Sept 29th we will build on it and turn toward the full flowering of tantra and yoga. This will be an extraordinary opportunity to learn and experience some of the yoga tradition’s most profound techniques to access healing and self-awareness including yoga nidra (conscious dreamless sleep), asana (poses) and bandha & mudra (to renew your vital force).  Stryker’s teachings encompass a comprehensive spectrum of practices aimed at fostering vitality and resilience.
